If You Have These 10 Signs, You Belong to The 3% of The Population With The Rare Personality: INTJ

“INTJs are the most independent of all the sixteen types and take more or less conscious pride in that independence.”,  еxperts say.

INTJ  stands for introversion, intuition, thinking, judgment – an abbreviation used in the publications of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) to refer to one of the 16 psychological types. According to Myers-Briggs the INTJ represents “The Architect” and is one of the rarest of the 16 psychological types and account for approximately 3% of the population, out of which  2% are men and 1% women.

In the movie The Hunger Games, lead role Katniss Everdeen is characterized with this personality. Bruce Wayne in Batman is also perceived as an INTJ and many other famous people like Nikola Tesla, Stephen Hawking, Sylvia Plath, Beethoven, Jay-Z, Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg, Hillary Clinton, Al Gore, Bill Gates, Dwight Eisenhower, Alan Greenspan, Ulysses S. Grant, John Maynard Keynes, Ayn Rand, Isaac Asimov, Lewis Carroll, Cormac McCarthy, and Sir Isaac Newton.

Some of the strengths of INTJ people are:

  • Quick, Imaginative and Strategic Mind
  • High Self-Confidence
  • Independent and Decisive
  • Hard-working and determined
  • Open-minded
  • Jacks-of-all-Trades INTJ Weaknesses

However, they have their own weaknesses. They are:

  • Arrogant
  • Judgmental
  • Overly analytical
  • Loathe highly structured environments
  • Clueless in romance

INTJs are analytical problem-solvers, eager to improve systems and processes with their innovative ideas. They are talented for seeing possibilities for improvement, no matter where, at work, at home, or in themselves.

Often intellectual, they enjoy logical reasoning and complex problem-solving. These people approach life by analyzing the theory behind what they see, and are typically focused inward, on their own thoughtful study of the world around them. INTJs are drawn to logical systems and are much less comfortable with the unpredictable nature of other people and their emotions. They are typically independent and selective about their relationships, preferring to associate with people who they find intellectually stimulating.

So, are you the one? Do you recognize yourself?

If you want to find out if you’re an INTJ you need to take an official personality test (recommended – the official personality test by the Myers-Briggs Foundation for the most accurate results) However, here are some of the most common signs that you just might be one. Check them out.

1. You keep to yourself.

What you feel about people who are too loud or bold is that they are obnoxious. And while most of them are like that, you always stay reserved and calm.

2. You are a full on techie.

You are practically a tech-person. Whatever new gadget you see you immediately want it. You want to keep pace with time, and stay up to date with the recent games. Skyrim is coming to Android, yay! To you, technology offers you the perfect tools to let your thoughts unwind.

3. You can be judgmental sometimes.

Did it happen to slapped someone in the face with just one word? Well, one of the strengths of INTJ people is that you can excite someone with your directness and can come off as arrogant, which is taken as a weakness. Even though you had never have an initial intention of hurting someone, your ‘no filter zone’ can be hurtful for some people,

4. You are a leader, not a follower

This characteristic is one of the strongest that INTJ individuals have. So, have you been a leadrer your entire life? Because of you have been, you just might belong to this group. An INTJ is a born leader. These people will fight their way to be a leader because they have a unique capability of creating followers and guiding them.

5. Your business is ONLY your business.

You don’t like bragging around about your own business. As the matter of fact, you hate it. That’s why you keep your business for yourself and you don’t want other people to talk to you about what they do. For you, what you do is something secretive from your personal life and this helps you succeed.

6. You don’t live off of compliment and focus on flaws.

You just don’t know how to take a compliment, do you? While most people love to be complimented you always focus on your flaws in order to self-improve. You have accepted yourself as you are to the max and don’t idealize perfection – life this isn’t a fairy tale.

7. You like the fact that you’re different.

This is the most recognizable trait that makes INTJ’s different from the other 15 personality types. They have fully accepted the fact that they are different and embrace it. They are the opposite of narcissists and tend to make jokes about themselves. An INTJ woman will never ask her partner if she looks fat in a certain dress — she loves her body as it is.

8. You have principles.

You always take responsibility for your actions and stick to your principles. But not like principles that most people have. Your principles are firm and are base of all your decisions, resulting in the direction your life is going. You don’t skip them ‘just this time’. On the contrary, you always stuck to them.

9. You love to learn!

You are not afraid of new things not afraid of learning and you never think it’s too late. Whenever you find something new that interests you, you start researching it, buying books about it and connecting with experts in that field. You want to know about it in depth, the core of it. This ambition makes you able to learn anything your heart wants — making you a jack of all trades.

10. You’re a star-gazing romantic.

You always believed in love and that you’ll meet your soul mate by avoiding the mediocre dating games that are popular lately. So instead of “hanging out”, “hooking up” or “being benched”, you’re reading some romantic novel on your couch, tucked in a blanket. Looks like you?
